In March of this year we went to Austria for some fresh pow pics. Arriving in a heavy snowstorm the crew van almost crashed into a tree. The next day it snowed from AM to PM, but after that, the blue sky, sunshine and fresh white powder in the trees formed the perfect backdrop for our shoot. Man, we were lucky!

Heavy snowfall

Due to the slippery roads our photographer and videographer involuntarily developed their “tire chains installing”-skills. Practice makes perfect. Luckily, because all the way home we faced icy roads because of snowfall. After a 15-hour (!) road trip we arrived home safe back in Amsterdam. With camera’s full of pics and video material to launch the new winter season.

Curious where the team stayed?

When you look for snow in Europe, you turn to the Alps. A big thank you must go out to holiday home expert Belvilla for housing us in the beautiful area of South Tyrol.

Breathtaking scenery

This region in South Tyrol is called Turracher Höhe, famous for the tiny little villages, breathtaking landscapes, beautiful lakes and proper ski slopes. Belvilla rents out several beautiful houses including bubble bath, outdoor jacuzzi and breathtaking views. All within walking distance from the ski lift. Highly recommended!
